Low Carbon Steel Shots

Low Carbon Steel Shots are spherical metallic abrasives made from low-carbon steel scrap. They possess a bainitic microstructure, resulting in a softer and more durable material compared to high-carbon steel shots. This composition allows them to absorb more energy upon impact, leading to reduced machine wear and extended media lifespan.

TOSÇELİK GRANÜL uses the best alloy content scrap that it receives from the group companies in the low carbon steel shot production. Low carbon steel shot features increased impact absorbing capacity as the impact energy is distributed evenly on the shots. Structural properties of low carbon steel shot reaches increased hardness and thus offers better cleaning performance during usage. Since the production process does not require secondary heat treatment, perfect shots of bainitic structure are produced without cracks also resistant to impact and wear.
